Fall Highway Cleanup

The Adopt-a-Highway program wraps its season Saturday with the fall effort in front of ol’ Apple Holler. It’s busy this time of year and that generates some garbage directly across from the parking lot where thoughtless tourists jettison diapers and food items purchased inside, but besides that it should be pretty easy, since we did the last one in late summer. We meet at 9:00 am in the parking lot, just as traffic starts arriving, so be prompt, or you may have to park on the street.

The weather promises to be fabulous and there’s no finer way to get off your phone and get some exercise as you chat with fellow freethinkers and help keep Wisconsin beautiful. Historic Sylvania cemetery is on the route and Apple Holler has restrooms and tasty food to boot. There’s usually even skydivers to watch!

Hope to see you there!
